When I left my old company of 25 years just about two years ago, I took with me files upon files of work with me. There were tons of paper samples, brochures, illustrator resources, photographers, and ideas galore. This week I finally tossed nearly all of it. The reality of what we do is finally sinking in this thick head of mine - we work for the present. We make immediate impact or we miss the mark. Sure I approach my work with a fine art in mind and a great strategy in play, but like Jackson Browne says "in the end it is all just a blink of an eye". Here's to moving forward and focusing on today.
