MacBook Air

Being an Apple advocate for years I always want and usually buy the latest greatest product. The MacBook air is on my list buy I am getting conflicting reports. Sure it is lightweight, fast, has significant storage but the knock on it is the battery life. What good is a book if it cannot last an airplane ride from Phoenix to Denver?
